The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) has appointed Professor Andrea Kaifie-Pechmann as National Secretary Germany. In this role, she will further expand networking and collaboration in the field of occupational medicine and strengthen international cooperation.

A particular concern of Professor Kaifie-Pechmann is the protection and promotion of the health of vulnerable groups of workers. “We must focus on those who are exposed to particular stressors in the workplace. International cooperation is crucial in developing the best possible solutions to protect this particularly vulnerable group,” she emphasizes.

About the ICOH:
The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) is the oldest scientific association in the field of occupational medicine. It was founded in 1906 and has approximately 2,000 members from over 100 countries worldwide. The ICOH is an NGO recognized by the United Nations and works closely with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
